Everything Old Is New Again

"Though Kew Gardens houses ... differ radically in style, type and scale, rather than being jarring or chaotic, their individualisms work beautifully as an ensemble with their neighbors. ... Everywhere there are idiosyncratic one-of-a-kinds, yet all the different parts work together."
I remember this house on Austin Street between Mowbray Drive and 82nd Road. In the 1970's and 80's, it was both home and office to a neighborhood attorney named Josephine Zafonte. As with other homes in the community, new owners have given the old house both a new look and a new lease on life.
