Home of F.L.W. Palmer
This view shows the northeasterly corner of 82nd Road (then known as Newbold Place) at Austin Street. The house sits diagonally across the street from the Long Island Railroad Station which lies offscreen to the photographer's right. In 1920, this was the home of a broker named Frederick L.W. Palmer. Palmer was also a member of the Kew Gardens Country Club where he served on the first board of governors.
