GIRL STUDENT No. 1:   Right now we're trying to figure out what the syntax error, this error we made here in line 70 is. She's working on that.

GIRL STUDENT No. 2:   Do you see my mistake?

PHILLIP LIOTTA:   At their age, they're already beyond most of the teachers in their computer ability.

RALPH PENZA:   [Voice over]  Right now, the youngsters are working on a survey that shows the average bedtime of P.S. 99 students, their average height, and weight.

BOY STUDENT:   Please give me your weight so I can enter it.

RALPH PENZA:   OK, my weight's 185.

BOY STUDENT:   185? You are above average weight 95 lbs. if you are in 9 ...

RALPH PENZA:   I'm 95 lbs. overweight??!! For what??

STUDENTS:   This is for 6th grade.

BOY STUDENT:   This is for 6th grade, yes.

RALPH PENZA:   That's a relief.

RALPH PENZA:   [Back in the studio]  Those youngsters gracefully invited me to lunch, but after seeing the computer read out, I decided to skip it. The neighborhoods we've shown you over the past few days are but a sample of the worthwhile things that are happening in the New York area, and not only in the heart of the City. From time to time I'll take you on visits to other spots in the Metropolitan area that serve as reminders that, with all the problems we cover here every night, there is a good side, too; in the neighborhoods.
