"[A] special meeting of the Kew Gardens Civic Association was held at the Country Club Tuesday evening, December 14th. ... The object of the meeting was the consideration by members of a proposed agreement which the officers of the Civic Association considered advisable to make with the Kew Gardens Corporation.
