Brevoort Street

This view is from Cuthbert Road looking south. Directly ahead lie the cross streets of Beverly Road and Abingdon Road (shown on the last page). The property to the photographer's immediate right is today the location of the Beverly House Apartment Building, and before that, the old Fleischmann mansion. When the sepia toned photograph was taken, that site was still a vacant lot. Also missing from the 1914 scene is the Anglo-Japanese house which would later be built on Beverly Road at the southwest corner of Brevoort Street.
