Abingdon Road

Here is yet another view of Abingdon Road, this time from the corner of 124th Place looking west to Brevoort Street, and Lefferts Boulevard. Part of the story of Kew Gardens has been the conflict between residents who want to preserve the community's traditional look, and developers looking to make maximum use of prime New York City real estate. Here, a stately home of Kew Gardens' early days has given way to a plain brick multiple dwelling.
