The Beverly House

The Beverly House was the last of the area's pre-war apartment buildings. Its location is noteworthy. A compromise between homeowners and developers in the early 1920's limited apartment construction to the community's main roads, such as Lefferts Boulevard and Metropolitan Avenue. Yet, the Beverly House, built in 1939, is located at the intersection of 2 side streets - Beverly Road and Brevoort Street.
