Home of Will Rogers

Will Rogers was a cowboy, vaudevillian, movie star, newspaper columnist, and humorist.
"He kidded congressmen, presidents and kings and never offended a soul.  His wit contained no insult or malice, yet it dissolved pretension with the cold light of logic, and in its simplicity, spoke the language of all."
After a temporary stay at 114 82nd Avenue, Rogers and his family lived in this house at 124 82nd Avenue during the years he performed with the Ziegfeld Follies on Broadway. They left in 1918 when Rogers moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in movies.
